WAITRESS is coming to the BJCC concert hall this fall

Waitress will be coming to the BJCC concert hall this fall! The Broadway musical will play four performances October 15-17, 2021. Tickets are on sale now!

Meet Jenna, an expert waitress and pastry chef who dreams of getting out of her small town and rocky wedding. Pouring her heart into her pies, she makes desserts that reflect her life upside down, such as “The Key (Lime) to Happiness Pie” and “Betrayed By My Eggs Pie”. When a baking contest in a neighboring county – and a satisfying meeting with someone new – shows Jenna a chance for a fresh start, she must find the courage to grab it. Change is on the menu, as long as Jenna can write her own perfectly personal recipe for happiness.

Hosted by an all-female creative team, this hilarious hit Broadway musical features original music and lyrics by the Grammy Award® winner Sara Bareilles (“Brave”, “Love Song”), a book by the famous screenwriter Jessie nelson (I Am Sam), original choreography by Lorin Latarro (Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Waiting For Godot), recreated by the tour choreographer O’Brien Abbey and original staging by the Tony Award® winner Diane paulus (Hair, Pippin), recreated by Tour Director Susanna Wolk.
