Toho’s original 1954 Godzilla returns to theaters this fall with a new 4K restoration

This year marks the 67th anniversary of the first original Godzilla film in 1954, and to celebrate Toho International, Inc. is celebrating in a number of ways, including bringing the long-awaited remastered 4K version of the original film to theaters across the United States, as well as the screening of a number of classics such as the screening of the 50th anniversary of Godzilla vs. Hedorah and a feature double of two Heisei-era films never before seen in theaters in North America. The actual anniversary is November 3, when the 4K restoration of Godzilla will make its world premiere.
