Singer Lucinda Williams plans another stop at Ponte Vedra concert hall

Three-time Grammy Award winner Lucinda Williams is expected to make another stopover in Ponte Vedra on her 2022 tour.

Williams and his band Buick 6 will perform at 8 p.m. on February 23 at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. She recently performed at Ponte Vedra on January 26, 2020, but also had stops on March 4, 2017, January 13, 2015 and May 25, 2014.

Tickets for the concert go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., November 12 at the St. Augustine Amphitheater box office or on ticketmaster.com. The ticket office of the Ponte Vedra concert hall remains closed.

Williams, from Lake Charles, Louisiana, released “Good Souls Better Angels” on April 24, 2020, her 14th album. His first album, “Ramblin ‘on My Mind”, was released in 1979.

She was inducted into the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame October 28.

She won three Grammy Awards: 2001 Best Female Rock Vocal Performance for “Get Right With God”, 1998 Best Contemporary Folk Album for “Car Wheels on a Gravel Road” and 1993 Best Country Song for “Passionate Kisses”.

The 2022 tour starts January 15th, 2022, in Kansas City. The Ponte Vedra show is the last stop before the group embarks on the Outlaw Country Cruise starting February 25 in Miami.
