Alright, alright, alright, 4/20 is coming up and we’ve found 15 events around town for you to celebrate with. You can still grab some snacks, put on a movie, and have fun at home, but why not explore the great options your local places have to offer and make some friends? A bud buddy, if you will.

420 rebounds with puff and brush
This BYOB date has multiple meetups throughout the month. The concept is simple, smoke while painting your own masterpiece. The 04/20 Puff and Brush offers three sessions, morning, noon and evening. Don’t worry, there will be snacks and drinks. DM their Instagram page for tickets.
Freezing madness at Thunderbird Station
It’s all about crazy drug abandonment at our favorite restaurant/bar. There will be hemp-based treats from Zar CBD and Cookies by Chrysta, special stoner food (like Flaming Hot Cheetos Frito Pie), and a drinks menu and DJ Barfwave from 7 p.m. to 12 p.m.
It’s 4/20 Somewhere at the Rustic
The restaurant/venue will feature a CBD and Delta 8 pop-up, themed drink specials, and of course food. A few DJs will play and the blues-funk group Mississippi Bastard Project will be on stage at 7 p.m.
Dazed and Confused at Alamo Drafthouse
At the Lake Highlands and Denton locations on April 20, you can see this iconic 1994 teen movie. In fact, it was the movie that put Alamo Drafthouse on the map when its original Austin location took it. projected. For a more fan-centric experience, the Richardson and Los Colinas venues are hosting a virtual Q&A with stars Matthew McConaughey and Parker Posey, director Richard Linklater and moderator Jack Black on April 18. Not quite 4/20, but nothing wrong with celebrating twice.
Electric Shuffle Ladies Night
The woman-owned dispensary is hosting a festive 4/20 celebration at Electric Shuffle. There will be special CBD-infused cocktails, free shuffleboard, a DJ, and fun giveaways that include a mini cocktail kit. — Rhema Joy Bell
Flower power in tulips
The headliner is The Willie Specials, a tribute act to Willie Nelson, because if we were to think of a list of patron saints of weed, Nelson would be one of them. DJ OMG is also featured. Admission is free with RSVP.
4/20 Night of Glass in Flying Saucer
Flying Saucer unveils the 2022 Commemorative Glass during this 4/20 celebration. The crew will feature Fair State Big Doinks IPA and brewery raffle products.
420 for good double wide
Goodekind, an organic hemp company, will host this shindig. As always, count on Double Wide for the drinks and Cinco Taco will serve the food. FIT, Loners Club, Frankie Leonie, DJ Ursa Minor and Rico DeLeon will perform all night and Goodekind, Go Easy and Texas Tooth Bling will have pop-ups. But wait, there’s more, one of our beloved ex-editors, Paradise’s Jessi Pereira, will be providing live portrayals.
Festival Smokerxchange 420
Free entry and beer here! There will be local glassblowers on hand to make you custom pieces, access to smokehouses, food trucks, raffles and performances by local musicians.
4/20 Block Party at Thrive Apothecary
This kid-friendly and pet-friendly 4/20 celebration will feature cannabis vendors, CBD-infused margaritas, tacos from Magdelena’s Food Truck and country music radio station 95.9 The Ranch. — RJB

420 Turning Point Beer Party
If you’re more into alcohol, don’t worry because this brewery offers draft beers for $4.20, including four limited edition ones – Baja Blasted (Sour Ale inspired by Baja Blast), Big Water (Sour Ale inspired by ocean water),
Wake ‘n Bacon (Imperial Stout conditioned on maple bacon coffee beans) and the Pulpsicle (Hazy IPA conditioned on orange and vanilla.)
A joint and jam session at Royal Lane Studios
A welcoming venue for 420 people, you can join in or take advantage of the hookah available if that’s more your speed. There will be food, both infused and uninfused, vendors and live music.
The Second Annual Dallas Hemp Festival 2022
Dallas Hemp Co. provides family entertainment for a good cause. Featuring DJs and vendors like Kitchen Studios and the K9 club, a portion of the evening’s proceeds will be sent to a non-profit organization that helps cancer patients, Giving Hemp. The event also features food trucks, local musicians and more. — RJB
6th Annual 420 Festival at Killers Tacos
Our friends at Denton are celebrating 420 years at this two-day festival which begins April 22 which will feature live music on two stages and serve delicious tacos. The range of vendors includes Bikers Fudge, Badwolf Baking and ArtKlub. The action kicks off with eight bands on day one, including With Hope Intact and Never Cease. The second day continues with twelve other artists, including Forget Conformity and Raid. — RJB
