[ad_1]
The 2018-2019 Broadway season in Austin opens on October 23 with “The Play That Goes Wrong,” and the promoters have announced new safety procedures for shows at Bass Concert Hall.
People who have attended a football game or a Longhorns concert at the Erwin Center recently already know this – Bass adopts the same safety and security policies, which include metal detectors at the entrances.
Want to speed up your entry? Free yourself from the bags and take the expressway at the far right entrance. Allow more time to get in as staff and clients get used to the changes.
The Broadway season in Austin includes the highly anticipated Austin premiere of âHamiltonâ in the spring.
Here are the new entry policies, which officially begin on October 22:
⢠Bags must be transparent and the size must not exceed 12 “x 12” x 6 “. Small non-transparent clutch bags that do not exceed 6.5” x 4.5 “will be allowed. Storage bags in Clear reclosable gallon plastic are also acceptable.
⢠Metal detectors are added at the entrance to the Bass Concert Hall. In order to increase the efficiency of this process, customers should minimize the number of personal items they bring and remove any items that might trigger the alarm before passing through the detectors. If an alarm sounds, the customer will be subject to secondary screening. Guests without baggage can enter through an express lane located at the far right entrance.
