Free day of yoga

Austin’s Free Day of Yoga is officially returning for the first time since 2019! Now under new ownership of local gymnasium Castle Hill Fitness, the traditional 20-year event will once again take place on Labor Day, September 5. Come flow with us throughout the day and celebrate the amazing benefits of yoga, all in the beautiful grounds.
Monday night tango

Everyone is welcome to Halycon Mueller for FREE dance fun! The evening begins with an introductory lesson in authentic Argentine tango, followed by two hours of social dancing by DJ G.
Singo – Bingo for Austin music lovers

Everyone loves to sing along to their favorite songs and who doesn’t love a competitive game of Bingo? SINGO Music Bingo brings together the best of both worlds for a high-energy game that’s fun for everyone. High-level comedy at Alamo Drafthouse

Alamo Drafthouse and Cheesecake Comedy will be offering free stand-up comedy in the South Lamar area. Martin Henn and Andre Ricks will be hosting their asses as usual with new programming every week.
Stay Strong 50+

This 50+ year old workout improves cardiovascular health, flexibility and strength as participants get to know other active seniors in the community. Directed by Damien Temperley of Aging is Cool.

All ages are invited to our new Wednesday morning story hour! Stop to listen to stories, finger plays and songs in the library meeting room.

Show off your stuff all over the Arboretum for this FREE evening of fun! With FREE goodie bags, raffles, photo booths and a fashion show!
Tapestry for a bright tomorrow concert
Thursday September 8 | From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. | Pease Park, 1100 Kingsbury Street
That evening, we will be joined by Sofrito y Su Melao from All Rhythms and Esquina Tango! All Rhythms is a local music organization with a world-class music ensemble playing traditional Cuban and Caribbean music for dance. Salsa, son, guajira, chachachá, bachata, danzón, cumbia, merengue and bolero… they will play it! Their musical director is nominated for the American and Latin Grammy Awards.
Family pride of young people at Roughhouse

FREE “Friday Fun Nights” at Yonders Point continue with Fiesta De Noche. The event includes a special performance by the Round Rock Ballet Folklorico, Mexican treats, Lonestar drinks, a movie in the park with “Coco” and other family activities to be announced soon! Bring your blanket, your chairs and your picnic and enjoy the event with your family!
