Community Concert Hall announces pop-up performance with “Flagship Romance”
The Fort Lewis College Community Concert Hall presents Flagship novel this Friday, August 26, at 7 p.m.… LIVE at the Smiley Cafe in beautiful downtown Durango.
Traveling in the Four Corners area, Shawn Fisher and Jordyn Jackson are based in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Their sound crosses the sonic domains of folk, pop, rock, jazz and EDM. Their songs are filled with sticky melodies, incendiary vocals, and lyrics that perfectly balance raw honesty and universal accessibility.
Since releasing their debut EP, “The Fudge Sessions”, in January 2013, Flagship Romance have toured the United States several times, making stops at legendary venues such as The Bitter End in New York and multiple performances in Florida. Historic theater. in Jacksonville, Florida. The variety of acts this duo have shared the stage with is a tribute to the universal accessibility of their compositions and live performance. These names include Iris Dement, Claire Lynch, the Goo Goo Dolls, Jack’s Mannequin and Mason Jennings.
