Celebrate Austin’s Culinary Stars at the 2022 Tastemaker Awards

Get ready to raise a glass to the stars of Austin’s restaurant and bar. The annual CultureMap Tastemaker Awards return this spring – and tickets are on sale now.

Join us April 28 at the Fair Market for an evening honoring the best of Austin’s culinary scene.

The fun begins with our signature tasting event, where you can sample special bites from this year’s participating nominees and sip on a range of cocktails, beers and more. The evening culminates in our annual awards ceremony, once again led by Alamo Drafthouse legend Tim League.

The 2022 Austin program will recognize Restaurant of the Year, Chef of the Year, Bar of the Year, Rising Star Chef of the Year, Pastry Chef of the Year, Neighborhood Restaurant of the year, the bartender of the year, the wine program of the year. , Brewery of the Year, Best New Restaurant and Best Vegan Restaurant.

You can see all the nominees here and find out more about them in our special editorial series leading up to the big event.

On April 28, we’ll reveal the winner in each category, including the Readers’ Choice winner for Best New Restaurant, to be determined by you in an upcoming online tournament.
